A square dance is a great theme for a fundraiser, accenting the community spirit of giving with a traditonal community dance. The western theme is easy to work with, and everybody will be able to do the simple dances.

Some organizations, like the Healsdburg Food Pantry, have a big square dance (with a silent auction) once a year. Many churches, Rotary Clubs, PTOs, and other groups use them once in a while, rotating with other themed events.

The program is basically the same as the typical dance for beginners, but we will do only as much dancing as your program will allow. Most fundraisers have at least some time devoted to auctions (silent or otherwise), raffles, speeches, slide shows, presentations, and other parts of the program essential to the fundraising. I'm there to help you make your event succeed, and I work around your program.
